i'm pretty aware that this is a very dismal and unholidayish set, but i just don't work well with.. red and green.
MERRY CHRISTMASS OR HAPPY HANUKKAH OR JUST HAPPY HOLIDAYS IN GENERAL.
see you're probably thinking, who in the right mind would wear that outfit?
well, maybe you're not thinking that, i don't know.
i was thinking that whilst making the set.
and i came up with this-
a youngish girl (late teens or early twenties) who is married to this rich gazillionaire in his fifties. she married for money because she was quite poor but she was very pretty with dark dark dark eyes and dark dark dark hair so naturally the gazillionaire was more than happy to wed her.
but of course, the girl wasn't happy. her husband wasn't always around and when he was, he was distant and proud. she didn't like being stuck in the mansion all day long. it was too empty- too many empty rooms and empty corridors, empty closets and empty gardens. in fact, she even started to go a little crazy, she talked to herself and was convinced that there was something watching her.
one night, she woke up and grabbed her lighter. flick flick flicker flicker, and she tossed the lighter in to the waste paper bin, watching it as it became consumed flames. flick flick flicker flicker. the room turned brighter as the flames grew bigger- she put on her thick, black sweater and knee high socks, grabbed her driving gloves and shoes and left the room. perhaps she was going to try and stop the fire, or perhaps call the fire department but on her way downstairs, she saw a knife. it wasn't a particularly big knife, but it was sharp and she was tired and confused at what she had just done so she took it with her and knocked on her husband's door. no response. the singed smell was traveling through the corridor, so she knew she had to work quickly. she opened the door and found her husband, snoring and sleeping soundly. and so, she used the knife and slit his throat and fled.
she drove away in his silver shiny car, her driving gloves staining the steering wheel with blood.
I DONT KNOW WHY I WROTE ALL THAT
YOU PROBABLY JUST SKIPPED IT
BUT THAT WHOLE THING WAS JUST REPLAYING IN MY HEAD OVER AND OVER AGAIN WHEN I WAS MAKING THE SET, EVEN THOUGH IT IS A CRAP STORY.
